One of the greatest shows ever i loved ❤ her so much such a real person full of life and compassion Really loved her last show with surprise guest Jimmy Stewart 😊
I think Mama doesn't like Eunice because she was the Eunice of her own family. Sounds like Mae was the Ellen
CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS PART OF HE SHOW 😮😮😮😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I would never be as. Mean as she is to ed i could never talk to my love Jonathan B i love you so much
I only saw the q and a the first time it aired but it anyone knows where it exists I'd love to know. I young man "teen" probably asked if he could sing, and he did what I did for love.... and I remember Carol told him to "squeeze that olive" at a point he was flatting a bit. SO funny!
Great skit with 2 of the greatest comedy pros ever. Surprisingly, however, I tend to doubt such a skit as this could even be considered in today's ultra-sensitive, pc climate---my reason being it would be perceived as playing-up the female as sex symbol, which, of course, is unacceptable. Ridiculous, I know, but I believe likely. At the very least, it would be written & performed quite differently. We shouldn't worry, though, folks. One day, in the not-too-distant future, our culture & society will regain its sanity, especially in the portrayal of the perfectly normal & natural qualities of male & female relationships---maybe. Back in the day, though, audiences absolutely loved these kinds of skits, they weren't in the least offended, nor should we be now.
I loved ❤ the show "Mama's Family ". With Vicki Lawrence Schultz, Carol Burnette, Ken Berry, Harvey Korman, Rue McClanahan and Betty White. I made my kids watch them. 1 of them bought DVDs of complete TV series. 😂😂😂😂 Best spin off from a comedy sketch show. Nothing but ❤.
You know what I rlzd abt watching these? If Eunice hadnt kept turning on Ed,she might have managed to survive Mama and made a better life for herself. Because Ed was not a wimp. He did speak up and challenged Mama on her bad ways. But Eunice would then turn on him - even as she couldn't take Mama! How sad. Two relationships that could have been changed with the right approach. Teaching Mama to respect Eunice and her marriage; and Eunice respecting Ed and their relationship. Eunice and Ed could have been a powerhouse together. But I guess it is all based on our self love. Eunice couldnt love herself or give love.( The same diagnosis for Mama). Good comedy; painful reality.
THE BEST OF ALL !! SHE IS & WILL ALWAYS BE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME BEAUTIFUL WOMAN 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That little girl? Kim Basinger.
Loved it when Laurence Olivier was in the audience, tenth season, received a standing ovation.
3:36 😂😂😂😂the way momma looked at him 😊😂😂
Vicki usually played Carol's kid sister or an early version of the "valley girl" type. But when they inexplicably cast her as "Mama", that's when she really got a chance to shine.
Her audience interaction was the best part of her show.
As many time's I've watched this I never understood what Mrs. Miller said that got the loud reaction from the audience. But this time with even trying I heard her loud and clear say- "I brought her".
That is WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE 🎉🎉🎉
SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ONE IN A MILLION 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
Ominous joke about the Jackie Kennedy hairdo. Plus, it didn't really make sense anyway.
I think it implied that the gunfire coming through the window might very well have transformed the D.A.'s hair into a much shorter "do", reflective of Jackie's short, pixieish hairstyle in that period of Camelot. That's my take, wrong though it may be. Not everyone would've got it, though, as the connection wasn't overly clear. Had I been in charge, I probably wouldn't've used it.
I love you
SHE IS ONE IN A MILLION/NO KNOW ONE COMPARED 😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
That scream..😂
Boy, she's striking in that pink outfit! She is really pretty! I grew up watching her and loved her.
Cute.
Such utterly spectacular nonsense. There's never been another performer like her.
I remember all of these! I never missed a single episode of the Carol Burnett Show or the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Pretty sure Carol grew up with alcoholics. She'd have material to draw on acting drunk.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
The gymnastics ability of these two men is incredible
I love how Eunice just eats her apple and gets a beer, she's so over the bullshit
She was one in millions 😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😊😊😊
Can't say enough about Carol she was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
She was huge. Catch her interview with Dick Cavett.
No star would do that now. She was and is very special
As a kid I couldn't wait until this skit was on.
The wildest thing is that she was on Eunice about wearing gloves to the funeral. However she wasn’t wearing any gloves herself.
God bless Ms. Burnett...she never fails to deliver!!!
My favourite shows are with Mama 😂
Burt Reynolds looks like Stifler from American Pie
The "Mama" character was emotionally and intellectually dense, wasn't she? 😂 And she never makes the connection as to why Eunice is that way!!!! 😂
0:24 damn! Carol got legs though
She was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL 😂😂😂😂😂 every single day 😍 ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💖 💗 😅😅😅
Fantastic comedy.
Oh my! My stomach is hurtin and I feel a headache comin on! What a family to live with!😂😂😂
She's a national treasure. F those people who downvoted.
LOVE Carol Burnett!!! ICON!
Could you imagine Ellen Degenerate doing this? No? Neither can I.
Watch carol on “better call saul”.
Carol was the most gracious celebrity ever with her audience!
Carol Burnett is a national treasure...
When _The Carol Burnett Show_ ended and the syndicated _Carol Burnett and Friends_ started one of the things I missed the most were these "lets bump up the lights" interactions. She'd come on, say "Welcome to the show" and then jump cut to "We'll be right back."
